This is a short walk from Puluong Retreat to Bam village, ideal for leisure travellers or families with children and infants. Bam village is famous by its highland rice fields where sunrise scenery is top rated, as well as small palm garden and authentic stilt houses . Guests also can interact with local people living on the hillside, get a glimpse of daily life, walk around farm-lands and terraced rice paddies, and learn more about the authentic lifestyle.

Only 10km from Pu Luong Retreat, and accessible by car/motorbike or a scenic trek, lies the pretty Kho Mường hamlet at the base of a steep valley. Its remote nature means you can still witness life as it has been over centuries, revolving around rice fields, vegetable gardens, and livestock. Behind Kho Mường, in the middle of the mountain, is Bat Cave.  The cave is known for the 5 species of bats that have lived here for thousands of years. Brave travellers can also climb down to the cave for an interesting adventure. Try to find stalactite rocks transformed from limestone in water drips from the cave's upside.Our bus will take you to Đồng Điểng hamlet, where you will start descending along the trail through terraced rice paddies to the mountain foot. Take another 1-km walk you will reach Kho Mường. Resting for a while, then discovering the village, and after a short mountain walk, the massive Bat cave suddenly appears and will leave you speechless. Walk to the main road, where our bus pick you up to the Retreat.
